For job seekers, by job seekers.
No need to drown in spreadsheets. JobApp tracks your applications, surfaces insights you might miss, and keeps you motivated when the search gets tough.
JobApp is a desktop application that helps you manage every application you send out, from submission to offer. It's built to be your assistant through probably one of the more stressful processes in your life (especially in these times).
1. Fill out a job application.
2. Log it in JobApp.
Company, role, date, contacts, resume version (if you have multiple), status, all in one place. No more losing or searching for that email address.
Your data lives on YOUR machine.
Not in the cloud.
Not for sale.
Job searching sucks.
JobApp is designed to be encouraging, not another source of stress.
There are three layers of intelligence that work together to surface insights, prioritize your applications, and coach you through the process.
Detects patterns like ghosting, missed follow-ups, and aging applications. Works from day one, no data needed.
Ranks your applications and scores by urgency so you always know what needs attention.
Estimates the response likelihood based on your personal history. Gets smarter as you use it.
Aggregates anonymized, opt-in data across the entire JobApp community to surface trends: response rates by industry, regional hiring patterns, and timing insights that no single user could see alone.
Join a community of people on the same boat- share insights, talk about experiences, expand networking, resume feedback, celebrate (rant, or grieve), and support one other through the process.
See how the community is doing: response rates, trending roles, busiest regions. All anonymous, all opt-in.
View Community Stats →Review each others resumes, talk about interviews, industry channels, all in a space where everyone is in the same boat.
Join Discord →Got a job? Good for you ig. I mean feel free to gift your license key to someone still searching! Or donate one to the community.
Learn About Gifting →That moment when the offer comes in, had to start from somewhere. We hope to be your start.
Whether it's your 5th or your 500th, it's progress.
JobApp will be here to remind you of that.
JobApp was built because I foresaw (and am currently seeing) myself feeling pretty discouraged about future prospects. I was not looking forward to sending applications and not hearing back on top of having to track which resumes was sent where, what email was whose, or if my applications were actually getting anywhere.
JobApp started off as a senior capstone project of mine, with the secondary purpose of saving time post-school in terms of organizing my job applications. It ended up being something built with genuine care (and late nights and coffee). Every feature — the intelligence engine, to the community channels, and amateur (sorry) drawn out UI — is something I built from scratch and I hope it would be of some help for others.
I also wanted to create a space (after not knowing where to look) that reminds people that they are not alone. We are all looking for some purpose alongside one another, that as a collective, we are more than just the jobs we are applying to.
Reach out anytime. I read everything.
